A study of November colour palette inspired by autumn flower markets.
Each peace is formed by hand, brushes, acrylic paints and natural surfaces of cardboard. Only making the project digitised in the scanning of painted images to share it here.

7 DAYS IN NEW YORK
Meanwhile almost seven years later I was happy to travel on other side of the Pond and get lost in Big Apple again. Heavy rain showers on the second day of my visit forced me to stay indoors and create some sketches.

WALL OF WALLY
A couple of months ago some of my Instagramm followers sent me a link on the project called Wall Of Wally. Many talented illustrators already created a portrait of Wally Olins. There are no deadline so if you are a practising illustrator it is not too late to join the project. So did I.

HACKNEY MAP
Early this May, I ran my 7th half-marathon. After each run, I was fascinated by the idea of putting my memories and impressions onto paper. Finally, after finishing the RunHackney half-marathon this month, I managed to turn my intensions into a real map.
This race is just two years old and I completed it both times. So, RunHackney is the only half marathon I have completed twice. I was always worried that running the same route could be a bit boring. But, it wasn't! All the way, I was comparing my memories from last year with what I saw right this time. By coincidence, most of my time in London has been spent living in the borough of Hackney. I've seen plenty of streets and places many times, but all of them were in my head as different pieces of a puzzle, but with no connection to each other. On this run, all of those pieces came together to form the complete jigsaw puzzle. It¹s fascinating how the city can shrink when you run through so many places within just a couple of hours! Running this half marathon was the perfect way to see the area where I live from a different angle. I'm already looking forward to standing on the start line in the spring of 2016.

INK & INK
Came across stand with colourful inks at my local art supplies store. Apparently calligraphy could be bright and fun, depends on material you choose. I spent a couple of afternoons trying different options.

A WORLD OF MY OWN
Came across nice kids poetry while polishing my calligraphy skills. It was used in Alice In Wonderland (1951) movie, however not a part of famous novel by Lewis Carroll. Two nonsense creatures came along with the writing.
If I had world of my own,
Everything would be nonsense.
Nothing would be what it is
Because everything would be
What it isn't.
And contrary wise what is,
It wouldn't be.
And what it wouldn't be,
It would.
You see?
Everything would be nonsense.
Nothing would be what it is
Because everything would be
What it isn't.
And contrary wise what is,
It wouldn't be.
And what it wouldn't be,
It would.
You see?

PARDON OUR DUST
Last month I was asked to create a T-shirt design for one lovely Moscow based running club Girl&Sole. Members of the club were going to the annual Paris Half Marathon and needed team T-shirt with cheering up message. Two years ago I also run that distance, one of most beautiful routes I've done, I hope one day I going to run that again.

10 RULES
A set of illustrations created for a joint exhibition with Nina Pechkovskaya in Tallinn.
This series of prints depicts personal subjective rules created about the search for happiness and well-being.
London life is full of moves, four years in UK taught me to let go material things without regret. I started appreciate memories and experience I got, these things wouldn't disappear from my mind and remain with me for years.
•Be fit and your body will thank you.
I've never been a sport person, gym classes in high school were true torment for me. However, after a chain of circumstances I started running on a regular basis. It wasn't a love from the first sight. Looking back now I could say that having regular physical activity for more than three years gave me better understanding of my body needs and abilities.
•Open your mind only for beautiful thoughts.
Even on low moment of life I try to keep away from all dark thoughts.
•Create
The feeling of creating something with your own hands is unique and the satisfaction it could bring is priceless.
•Have your guilty pleasures.
But don't feel guilty about it. Share the things you admire, let people see the beauty of things you like.
• Share you thoughts.
Your thoughts are like seeds, you never know where they could travel, land and grow up.
•Dare to try new thingsEveryday life could get so many new shades if we let in new experience. Sometimes it could be a failure, but it is only one way to discover new unknown flavours, colours and sounds of life.
•Leave your comfort zone
Sometimes you just need to take other route to bus stop or try new cafe and you'll see how many things going on outside of your comfort zone.
•Have your passions and hobbies.
I used to have piano classes in my childhood, twenty years later I recalled my skills and playing piano turned to my new passion. It helped me a lot to escape and relax on low moments of my life.
•Sleep well
Anything couldn't be compared to the healing power of 8 hour long sleep.
